TRAVEL CONSULTING & PLANNING SERVICES
Soulful Journeys Travel Consulting and Planning Services are based on our over 20 years of professional travel expertise and education. Our services include travel arrangements, reservations, ticketing and traveler support for air, rail, and lodging, car rentals, destination services, documentation, and research for domestic and international travel for personalized itineraries.
There will be an initial consultation call to determine if you would like to retain the services of Soulful Journeys Travel. Soulful Journeys Travel works with vetted, preferred travel suppliers and does not bargain shop, compete with online deals, advertised specials, or book through vendors, suppliers, tour operators or service providers that we do not feel add value to your experience. What is recommended and planned for you reflects quality travel experiences.
Once you agree to retain our services, a non-refundable travel consulting and planning fee of $397.00 will be charged plus any credit card convenience or processing fees and paid to Soulful Journeys Travel directly. This Travel Consulting fee is for services to be rendered. You acknowledge and accept that these fees are separate from the cost of your trip, these fees are nonrefundable, and that any change to the initial travel concept/plan after the booking process has begun may result in additional fees (for example: if you change destination, alternate dates, or addition of travelers from the original request).
All quotes, prices, special promotions, and availability are subject to supplier terms and conditions and/or restrictions.
When you request a change or cancellation to your travel arrangements, we reserve the right to charge a 15% cancellation fee, based on the cost of the package total. This may be in addition to any supplier charges or cancellation fees. You should discuss with your travel insurance provider if this fee will be protected by your coverage.
Cancellation will NOT be processed until the appropriate Cancellation Fee is paid.

TRAVEL INSURANCE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Emergencies can happen when you least expect them. Soulful Journeys Travel highly recommends that all clients purchase a travel insurance policy to protect their investment in their vacation. Cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and tour operators all charge high penalties for cancellation, ranging from loss of deposit to full penalty of all monies paid.
Please keep in mind that most US based health insurance policies will not cover you when you are out of the country. Travel insurance can protect you in the event of Trip Cancellation, Trip Delay, Trip Interruption, Missed Connection, Baggage Loss, Theft or Damage, Baggage Delay, Emergency Medical and Dental Expenses, and Emergency Medical Transportation, among other unforeseen circumstances.
Please also note that in order for you to obtain coverage for certain pre-existing conditions, your policy must be purchased at the time of booking or shortly thereafter (depending on the terms of the supplier or policy).
Please understand that although we are licensed to sell Travel Insurance through our preferred insurance providers, we are not registered insurance agents, and cannot legally provide specific advice or information regarding insurance. We will gladly secure a quote for you, and if Soulful Journeys Travel does not, or is not legally able to secure coverage on your behalf, it is our strong recommendation that you purchase a policy on your own.
Soulful Journeys Travel is dedicated to our clientele and every reasonable effort will be made to your satisfaction. The traveler understands and acknowledges that unforeseen events and circumstances (for example: weather, political unrest, foreign transportation delays) may occur which are out of the control and of no fault of Soulful Journeys Travel.
Client agrees that Soulful Journeys Travel has the authority to agree to terms and conditions on your behalf while booking travel on your behalf. Client also agrees that Soulful Journeys Travel has the authority to use their credit card to pay said suppliers on their behalf.
All itineraries up to the finished product are considered the property of the traveler.
